Torch Ginger or wild ginger bud describes the pink inflorescences that forms at the end of a stalk and resembles a torch.

Pokok Bunga Kantan ini mengeluarkan sejambak bunga berwana merah jambu yang terletak di hujung tangkai dan menyerupai obor.

Torch ginger is delicious fried with pounded tapioca leaves or cooked with tengayen soup.

Bunga kantan sedap dimakan bila digoreng dengan daun ubi kayu yang ditumbuk atau dimasak dengan sup tengayen.
